Just some thoughts on pitching
It seems like almost every year, we sit around and think, “gee, if we could only get a couple of good quality pitchers on the mound, we might take this thing.” I mean, Trip already spoke of Rudy Jaramillo’s success as a hitting coach. The Rangers can definitely bat. But sometimes our pitching just reeks. Well, anyway, I found a couple of decent links that talk about free agent pitchers. I know that right now we can’t talk to most of them - and there are a few that we don’t want to talk to when we can… but here are some folks to start thinking about. (yeah, that last one is from one of the three Washington National fans’ blog site, but he does a good job of listing folks. Obviously his commentary refers to the Nationals, but it is a good starting point…
